Workshop on Roadmap Formulation and Capacity Development for the Smarter Community Program for Sustainable Dupax del Norte

On June 28, 2023, a workshop commenced in Dupax del Norte, bringing together esteemed individuals from various offices of the Local Government Unit (LGU). Led by Mayor Hon. Timothy Joseph Cayton, the delegation includes heads and staff representing LGU Dupax del Norte. The event also welcomed partners from renowned academic institutions such as Saint Mary University (SMU) and Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU), as well as key agencies including the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

 

To ensure the success of the three-day program, a competent team of facilitators has been assembled. Ms. Raquel Santos, the Smart & Sustainable Community Focal Person from DOST R02, Dr. Betchie Aguinaldo, the Director of Business Intelligence and Research and Development of Isabela State University, and Atty. Reina Santos, the City Information Officer and Smart City Focal Person from the City Government of Cauayan guided the participants through engaging sessions. Engr. Jonathan Nuestro from the team of DOST PSTO Nueva Vizcaya was also present at the said event.  Their collective efforts aim to ensure a productive and enriching experience for all participants.
