About iSCENE

International Smart City Exposition and Networking Engagement (iSCENE) organized in the Philippines with the aim to serve as a platform to bring local chief executives, government leaders, industries and business players together for knowledge-sharing, connection and network-building for the promotion and implementation of innovative solutions that would be instrumental for the creation of smarter and sustainable communities in the country. iSCENE is part of the annual celebration of Cauayan City’s Smarter City and SDG Day, in commemoration of the recognition of the city as the First Smarter City of the Philippines given last March 25, 2015 by Department of Science and Technology. It provides venue for discussions, sharing of best practices, strategies and exhibition of different innovative solutions from well-renowned international, national speakers and industry partners promoting the implementation of Smart and Sustainable Communities Framework of DOST aligned to UNSDG’s, with hopes that these could be replicated by other cities and municipalities in the Philippines.
